Shankara Vara

This is a very simple song under Timeless tunes Level 1. The song is one of the Nottuswaras composed by the poet Sri. Muthuswamy Dikshithar describing the various attributes of Lord Shiva. He asks Lord Shiva to protect him and others. He describes Lord Shiva as the supreme Lord with lotus-like hands; the Lord of the animals; the one who has given the form to the word Om; the one who is benevolent; the one who resides in the Holy place Kanchi in Tamil Nadu; the one who is clad in a single piece of cloth, and hence called Eka Ambara – Ekambara
