Music – Short Term Certificate Courses

A modular course is defined as a part of the main course that can stand-alone. The topics are related and when combined with all other parts, become the entire course . The advantage of taking Modular course is that it can be taken as and when the student has time to do the course and also offers flexibility in payment option.

They are the part of the main course “Diploma in Carnatic Music”. Students have the option of taking up the modular courses independently as and when they have time. It is recommended to do the course sequentially if you are a beginner student in Carnatic music so that you would understand the link between each modular course. ( Recommended Sequence of Learning ) Those of you who are already practicing Carnatic music can take up the course of your choice. But before you enroll, it is advised to click on the the “HELP ME CHOOSE A COURSE” and submit the details – so that faculty could listen to it and help you to choose the course that is suitable for you.

The online course is a blended e-learning platform. All the basic and some of the Intermediate stage courses are provided with high quality Step by Step learning videos along with downloadable Theory PDF’s, Notations, Glossary, Sruthi, etc., Students learn by watching the video lessons which are accessible 24X7 and present the same during one on one weekly online class with the instructors to enhance their learning. Some intermediate & advance courses are done one to one under direct supervision of the instructors without Video support.

The course could be done with or without certification. If you need a certificate for each stage, you should have completed learning all courses under that particular stage and take an assessment at the end of every course.

Duration of each course varies from 4 to 12 weeks . If students wish to extend the course duration, they can do it by paying a fee. Conditions apply. For more details, contact admin@eambalam.com.

eAmbalam Course USP Videos

Online Classes are held on one to one basis, with the learner getting undivided attention for one full hour from the teacher. The sessions can be recorded. On an average, you are recommended to take 4 sessions in a month.

Eligibility:

1. Click on “Help me choose a Course” widget and submit details after which, the faculty will review and get back to you with all details.
2. If required, there will be a conferencing session with the faculty to assess the student and decide on the next course of action.
3. All students above the age of 8 years are eligible. Students below 12 years may require parental supervision if required.
4. If you are already a student of music, then, please send an audio or video link of your practice or performance. Faculty will review it and guide you accordingly.

Participation:

1. Attendance is mandatory.
2. If the learner is absent on any day due to any reason, it will be considered as class taken if not informed before 48 hours.
3. Students will have to take responsibility to practice regularly and attend the sessions well prepared.
4. Payment for 4 sessions is collected upfront every month.
5. Students are requested to ensure both the hardware and software is up and running before the beginning of every session.
