Guided Meditation – Overview

Namaste!

Welcome to eAmbalam’s Guided Meditation program.
Modern Living is marked by hectic timelines, increased work pressure and stress on relationships. In the whirl of the turbulent storm of life events, the calm of the centre –which is the awareness of the self is estranged. We become strangers to our own selves.  Through the prcatice of Meditation, an individual trains the mind to improve awareness in their day-to-day activities as a form of mind-training & is often used to ease many health concerns to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force and develop compassion, friendship, efficiency, love, patience, generosity, forgiveness and much more.

eAmbalam’s Meditation program has two main courses – General well being known as Chittha Prasadhana and Life Reflective Practices known as Panchabhootha. Each course has seven modules and is spread over 21 days, in which the student gets to meet the faculty one to one online to enrich their learning experience.

The General Well-being
This course systematically leads you in to daily practice of relaxation and contemplation-that makes time for our own self. This daily practice, which is recommended for all, refreshes the thinking process, energises the emotional worlds and re-affirms the purpose of life- which is of meeting our own self, in the midst of turmoil, again and again. This course must be taken daily, at least twice, much like the daily commute to work and back!

Life Reflective Practices
Effective Living requires sharpening and harmonising the qualities and gifts that are dormant yet present within a person. Nowhere is this harmonising power as apparent as in the harmonising of the five primordial elements alluded in the Yogic texts. Each element reflects a quality that opposes and annihilates the other; water douses fire, fire burns the earthy elements, yet all the five elements harmonise as a physical and psychological being. The harmony of opposing qualities and gifts towards a larger purpose is the first practice taught in this systematic and carefully conceived meditation course. Second lesson, is the specific gift or a psychological potential that each of these elements holds out as a lesson for an effective living.

This systematic understanding of five primordial elements is designed for those who yearn to excel and lead themselves and others into fullness and effective living. Meditation on each of the five elements contemplates on the fundamental aspects of being. This course is recommended as a daily practice for achievers, leaders and for those need to deepen their ongoing meditative practices.
