T.V.Ramprasadh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer. A rigorous implementer, he spearheads the online and offline activity at eAmbalam.

T.V.Ramprasadh is one of the prominent Carnatic classical vocalists from Chennai with over 35 years of performing experience and 25 years of teaching experience. After his initial training from Mahalakshmi Natrajan (Bombay), Sharada Satyanarayana, R.R. Keshavamurthy and TV Gopalakrishnan, he has had advanced training from maestros like Padma Bhushan P.S. Narayanaswamy, Sangita Kalacharya S Rajam. TVR has Masters degree in Music & is a Qualified lawyer and cost accountant, but who choose Music as his profession.

An ‘A-grade’ All India Radio Artist, his programs have been broadcast on radio and television in State, Zonal, and National networks. He is an empanelled artist of ICCR. Ramprasadh has performed, conducted workshops and lecture demonstrations not only in many cities in India but also abroad in the countries like US, UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Malaysia. Record Companies like Kosmic Music, Music Today, HMV, the Times Music, Amutham Inc of USA, Lahari, Sangeetha etc have got out his music in the form of CDs and audiotapes. He has composed music for ‘Parivrajika’, a documentary film, composed music for several music & dance productions for eminent artists.

He has hosted Carnatic music shows like ‘Sapthaswara’ on Kannada Television channels – Udaya TV and Kasthuri TV. As a consultant for the Times of India he has worked with school children all over Bangalore through the Newspaper in Education – a series of Music awareness programmes for schools in Bangalore. He has also been a guest lecturer/ performer for Mudhra- A series of Music Appreciation programs for the masses held in Chennai. He has spoken in forums like the Rotary International, Universities in United States of America, Germany, France, Switzerland and also on radio and television networks in India and abroad. He has contributed several articles to Music and Dance magazines.

Padma Bhushan awardee P.S. Narayanaswamy – He is a traditional vocal vidwan of the Tanjavur style and is noted for his chaste rendering and adherence to values. His grip over thalas and rhythm has been commendable and has enabled him to handle intricate pallavis with ease and dexterity.

  • In recent times, he has won great acclaim as a guru par excellence. PSN’s own students, who have made a significant mark on the concert platform, comprise a large number.

Padma Bhushan awardee C.V. Chandrashekar – He started his dancing career in 1947, a time when there were few male dancers. He is a multi-faceted personality – a dancer, choreographer, researcher, musician, academician, composer and highly acclaimed teacher of Bharatanatyam.

  • He has been performing for the past six decades in India and abroad and is regularly invited by dancers around the world to teach and choreograph.
  • A much revered dancer in his seventies, his presentation of Bharatanatyam technique is at its finest and continues to be an inspiration for all dancers.
  • He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1993, by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, and received the Kalidas Samman in 2008.

 

Savithri JagannathaRao – She started her teaching stint at Kalakshetra in 1962 and travelled and performed in many of Smt.Rukmini Devi’s dance drama productions across India. Since 2007, Smt.Savithri Jagannatha Rao has been actively involved with the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival, USA and at 2011 festival at Cleveland; she was awarded the “Nritya Kala Sagaram” for her years of service to Indian Classical Arts.

  • She founded “Pradakshina”- a centre for the promotion of Indian Art, History and Culture.
  • Her immense passion and dedication for the art form has led her to travel across the globe to teach as well as conduct dance workshops and lectures.
  • Smt. Savithri Jagannatha Rao was conferred the title of “Acharya Ratna” by the organization Utaraa at Hyderabad.

Dr. S. Raghuraman – A respected scholar of Thamizh, he is a Thamizh language Professor at A.M. Jain College, Chennai. He is a highly respected and sought after scholar and teacher in the true sense of the word, who shares his knowledge liberally with his students and knowledge seekers.

  • An ardent admirer of classical dance and music, he has a great interest in Bharata Natyam and works with several artists who wish to choreograph fresh works in Tamizh.
  • Apart from his usual University connected research guidance work at home and abroad, he has involved himself in helping Bharatanatyam dancers to find new pastures of literary areas to explore and create interesting and refreshing presentations.

Professor N Ramanathan is one of the leading musicologists in India. He has taught and guided research in the Department of Indian Music at the University of Madras since 1978 and retired in 2004. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in violin from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati and a Master’s Degree and Ph.D. Degree in Musicology at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has produced many publications and presented papers at seminars on Sangita Ratnakara and the Brhaddesi and is a member of the Experts Committee at The Madras Music Academy, Chennai.

Is a Registered Dietitian with the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA), and holds a Master’s Degree in Food and Nutrition from the prestigious Ethiraj College for women, under the University of Madras. She was a gold medalist during her under graduate program in Nutrition, Food service management and Dietetics at her college. Apart from her current area of practice which is weight & life style management, she has also undergone various trainings in clinical nutrition from several esteemed Multi specialty hospitals.

Currently, she is practicing as a Dietitian with a renowned wellness Organization. In her practice, she has been successfully counseling her clients in weight and life style management through therapeutic approach and has guided them towards healthy living.

Her areas of interest include, diet and life style management, clinical nutrition and nutrition research. She is also a life member with the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA) and has participated in several nutrition forums.

He is the Director of SPARRC – Sports Performance Assessment Rehabilitation Research Counseling Institute" at Chennai. He is one of the most sought after sports medicine doctor and trainer and has worked with many eminent personalities in the field of sports and dance.

An enterprising and inquisitive engineer by attitude and profession extended his mental state of being curious into understanding the depth of Yoga. He started his journey under Mr. Sanjay Gurvekar and later he learnt Yoga under many eminent students of Padmashree Padmabushan Padmavibushan B.K.S Iyengar such as Mr. Karthik Chaitanya, Mr. Ragavendra Shenoy and Dr. S.N. Omkar in Bangalore, and Sharat Arora in Dharmashala. He has completed teacher’s certification course from S.VYASA University in Bangalore. He has acquired knowledge of human anatomy and physiology under renowned sports physiotherapist in Bangalore, Dr. Gladson Johnson.  He is learning Indian scriptures under research Vedic Scholar Mr Swaroop Sharma,. Presently, he is getting trained in Acupressure and Acupuncture from Dr. H. Bhojraj and trying to integrate the same in his practice.

His yogic experiences are experimented and integrated with lifestyle. He founded Yogavijnana to spread the message of Yoga to wider audience. He believes in living life of experience and toils to enrich experience of his students too. Students under his tutorship have seen metamorphosis happen in their lifestyle. He is a staunch believer of the fact that, nothing is to be just believed, but everything is to be lived and experienced.

He is an ardent blogger, mountaineer/trekker, avid traveler, hobby photographer, and runner during his spare time. He has completed his advance mountaineering course from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.  He works as hardware designer in a top notch MNC company in Bangalore. In his engineering career, he has one patent to his name and three (3) technical publications.

A Master Yogi, he has been a practitioner of Yoga since 1996 and was conferred the title of ‘Yoga Āchārya’ for having successfully completed the Advanced Teachers Training Course at the Śhivānandha Yoga Vedhāntha Center in India. Renjith is also extensively trained in Kaḷaripayaṭṭu, a beautiful martial art form of Kerala, at Hindhusthān Kaḷari (Kerala, India).

Belongs to the parampara of Appaiyya Dikshithar and Mahamahopadhyaya Mannargudi Periyava. Had her early training from her mother Saraswathi Ramanathan. Later she had Gurukula training for more than eight years under Sangita Kalanidhi Dr R Vedavalli. She is a Gold Medallist in BA Music from Queen Mary’s College and went on to complete her Masters and Ph.D from the Madras University under the guidance of renowned musicologist Dr N Ramanathan.

She has been an academician for over 25 years of which 10 years were at PSG Arts and Science College, Coimbatore and over 15 years at Queen Mary’s College Chennai. She also guides numerous students in achieving their M Phil & PhD students.

A Graded All India Radio artist Dr Abhiramasundari has been performing all over India for over 2 decades.

Yogeshvar is a traditional spiritual teacher of Yoga and Vedanta, from Chennai, South India. He has studied under a number of teachers, in the tradition of Siddhas for Yoga and that of Sri Shankaracharya for Vedanta. He found his Guru in Dravidacharya Sri Ramakrishnan Swamiji of Rishikesh, under whom he is perfecting his commitment to self-knowledge.

He is the main Acharya of the Vedic Dharma Association, Bucharest, where he has conducted weekly classes of Yoga and Vedanta for the past four years. Over the years, he has taught Yoga to a varied audience, as well as given personal guidance in India, Brazil and Romania. He was known in the tamil speaking world, for his daily morning yoga program in Jaya TV in tamil language. It was appreciated as one of its kind and set the benchmark for other such programs to come.

A prominent Carnatic classical vocalist, his captivating voice, clarity in diction, uncompromising adherence of tradition and unique style have evoked unqualified approbation of all listeners. He has had his initial training under Mahalakshmi Natarajan (Bombay) and Sharada Satyanarayana and later under R.R.Keshavamurthy, T.V.Gopalkrishnan, S.Rajam and P.S.Narayanaswamy.

She is a prominent exponent of Hindustani Classical Vocal, Kirana Gharana in the Khayal and Thumri genres. After initial training, Sanhita was later groomed by Late Pandit A. Kanan, the senior most Gurus of the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata. She got added exposure under Pandit Vinayak Torvi for few years in Kirana and Gwalior traditions.

  • After years of practice, and greatly influenced by Gharana maestros, she has assimilated the distinctive features of the Kirānā Gharānā. With practice, she has excelled in the exposition and elaboration of ragas with all the variations, modulations and split-second precision.
  • Unmistakable features of her presentation is blending of the two major wings of Kirānā gāyaki and bring out ragas in imaginative trajectories of "sur-laya-phirat."

Shri T.V.Ramanujacharyalu, a Top Garde Violin Artsit, hails from a family of Traditional Music. Shri T.V.Ramnujacharyalu has an exquisite Gayaki Style of rendering ragas and Swaraprasthara, characterized by the best traditional classicism. His bowing technique is par excellence. He has trained many students in Carnatic Music.

  • He has been regularly playing solo as well as accompaniment in all the leading Sabhas all over India.
  • He has played Violin in many cassettes and CDs for various leading artists. He has composed tunes for many Devotional Songs like Dhivya Prabhandhha Pāsurams and also Light Music.

He is a disciple of his father Sri Melakkaveri Krishnamurthy, a renowned mrudhangam vidhwān. Balaji was initiated to the art of mrudhangam playing at a very young age. Balaji is known for his deft fingering techniques and is a very versatile artist. He is one of the most sought after mrudhangam artists in South India today.

  • Balaji is an A-grade artist and is featured often in the audio and video recordings of All India Radio and Doordarshan.
  • He has toured extensively for performances in India and abroad. He has received many titles and awards such as  Yuva Kalā Bhārathi,  Nādha Oli  and  Laya gnyāna iḷmaṇi.

Born and brought up in the district of North Canara, Shri Gurumurthy Vaidya is a Tablist by Profession. Being guided initially by Shri G G Hegde, Yellapur and Pt.Basavaraj Bendigere, Dharwad, he is now under the tutelage of Pt.Ravindra Yavagal, Bangalore.

With his own interest, Shri Gurumurthy Vaidya has gained a good knowledge and control over Vocal Music, Pakhawaj, Chende, Mrudanga, other rhythmic instruments along with Tabla. Laya Vinyasa, is a popular programme experimented and popularized by him with performing all said instruments with / without vocal support.

A B-High grade Tabla artist of AIR, Bangalore and TV artist Gurumurthy has composed and directed music for many commercial CDs and music projects.

Gurumurthy has performed in many prestigious platforms across the country and also U.S.A & Muscat. He has received honors from the Karnataka Sangeeth Nrithya Kala Academy and the Human Resource Development Scholarship, Govt. of India.

Nāradha Gāna Sabha, Nāṭyaraṅgam, Chennai honoured her with an award for a Senior Dancer, 2002. In 1993, the South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Government of India, honored her. The other awards received by her include the Nāṭya Śhānthalā title conferred on her in 1996.
  • She is the Director of Performing Arts at Ambalam, Center for Performing Arts. She has been training several dedicated students in India and abroad and some of them have blossomed into talented performers. She is married to the renowned Carnatic Classical vocalist T.V.Ramprasadh.

Bhagyalakshmi Suresh is an experienced carnatic vocalist and a senior desciple of Vidushi Late Smt. Sulochana Pattbhiraman.

Born and brought up in Delhi ,She had her initial training under shri Sengalipuram Ramamurthy. In Chennai She had a great privilege of learning under stalwarts like MLV, Prof S R Janakiraman, B Rajam Iyer and Vairamangalam Lakshmi Narayanan.

She is a B high graded artiste of AIR chennai .She is also a scholarship holder of the Sahitya kala parishad, Delhi for advanced training in music.

She has participated in various competitions including the prestigious All India Inter Ministry Competition, All India Radio Competition and has won several prizes and accolades. She is the recipient of sangeetha rathna from The Music Academy and has bagged the best concert award in the year 1989. She has performed extensively in all the sabhas of Chennai and also in many other places and temples through out India.Her thematic presentation on Kamba Ramayanam, verses tuned by her has won world wide recognition. She is the founder of Ganapriya School of Music and trains around 50 students in India and abroad. She is a post graduate in Mathematics from Delhi university with a B.Ed.

Varalakshmi Anandkumar had her initial training from her aunt Smt Maragatham Ramaswamy,presently Founder of the Ragamalika music school in Washington, U.S.A. Later she underwent training from the legendary Sri D.K.Jayaraman and became one of his foremost disciples.

Presently, she is under the tutelage of Sri P.S.Narayanaswamy and Sri Srimushnam Raja Rao.

An A grade artiste of All India Radio Chennai, she is a regular performer at concert platforms as well as on the radio and television. She has given programmes in all the Sabhas in Chennai round the year and at the music festival. She has toured the length and breadth of India and has visited Australia, Singapore and the Gulf.

She has participated in prestigious programmes of the AIR like the National programme of Music and the South Zone Hook up.

Having won innumerable prizes at music competitions at all the prestigious venues in Chennai, she has brought home three tambura prizes including the Rajaji Tambura awarded at the Tamil Isai Sangam. She has also been awarded prizes for concerts at the Gokulashtami series of the Sri Krishna Gana Sabha and the December series at the Music Academy.

She was given an Award of Excellence by the sabha Hamsadhwani for ‘her excellent performance in the music series’ of 2008-2009.

Varalakshmi has written a book ‘Janaranjakam’, a compilation of 50 notations of songs popularized by Sri D.K.Jayaraman, published by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and brought out by the D.K.J Foundation.

Armed with a PhD in French, holding the post of Associate Professor in French at the Queen Mary’s College, Chennai, Varalakshmi proves that it is possible to excel in two fields at the same time.

Kanaka Durga Venkatesh has spent many years pursuing excellence, because that is what Karnatic music is all about. She started her training at the age of six in Andhra Pradesh. She had her first stage experience at the age of eight which inspired her to take up music seriously. She enrolled herself into a four year diploma course in music in G. V. R. Government Music College, Vijayawada.

Kanaka Durga trained under the renowned musician Sangita Kalanidhi Late Shri. D K Jayaraman, Sangita Kala Acharya Late Shri. V Subramanyam, Kalaimamani Srimushnam Shri. Raja Rao and Isaivani Smt.Ambujam Vedantham (a reputed Composer & Musician of Thiruchi).

A holder of Masters Degree in Music from the Madras University (M. Music), she is a B High artist in Classical vocal from All India Radio, Thiruchirapalli. Her concerts have been held in various sabhas in Chennai and other places in South India and the Middle East. A senior, disciplined and thorough musician, Udipi Gopalakrishnan started performing in the latter half of the 1960 decade. His music reflects the rich tradition of his teachers, the Alatthur brothers, Ayalur Krishnan and Padhmabhushan P.S.Narayanaswamy. Scores of students have benefitted from his expertise since four decades.

  • Gopalakrishnan has won the Best Vocalist award from Krishna Gana Sabha and he has also been conferred the title of Āsthāna Vidhwān of Kānchi Kāmakōṭi Pīṭham, Kānchipuram.
  • A patient teacher, especially with the children amongst his many students, he is well known for uncompromising tradition and meticulous teaching methods.

She completed her M.A. in music at Madras University , and also completed an advanced training in Carnatic music at Swami Haridoss Giri School of Music, Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai headed by Sri. P. S. Narayanaswamy.

She started learning music at a very young age of seven and privilege of having late Smt D. K. Pattamal who initiated her into this wonderful world of music. D. K. Pattamal put her under Smt. Gayathri Sundararaman, and later under the guidance of Smt. Bhushany Kalyanaraman.

She has performed continuously for more than ten years at Thiruvaiyaru Thyagaraja Aradhana and also been singing at various temples in and around Chennai and outside for special occasions. She is a frequent participant at VDS Arts Academy (TROP) who encourages young musicians.

She completed her M.A. in music at Madras University , and also completed an advanced training in Carnatic music at Swami Haridoss Giri School of Music, Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai headed by Sri. P. S. Narayanaswamy.

She has performed continuously for more than ten years at Thiruvaiyaru Thyagaraja Aradhana and also been singing at various temples in and around Chennai and outside for special occasions. She is a frequent participant at VDS Arts Academy (TROP) who encourages young musicians.

Surmani Dattatreya Velankar is a disciple of an acclaimed Gwalior-KiranaGharana vocalist, Pt. Vinayak Torvi. He is an accomplished performer, teacher and academician.

Dattatreya Velankar is an ‘A’ graded All India Radio and Doordarshan artiste. He has performed at many prestigious music festivals. He is one of the founders of the SHADJA KALA KENDRA TRUST , Bangalore – an institution dedicated to the age-old ‘ Guru-Shishya Parampara’ of Hindustani Classical Music and he is training several students.

Shanthi Venkateswaran is a BA (Economics) and a BA (Indian Music) from the University of Madras. She has worked in nationalised banks in the management cadre and has over 15 years of experience, bringing considerable managerial experience to her job. She has worked as a copy desk editor in newspapers during her stay overseas in North Africa & Far East.  She is a trained singer in Carnatic music who has provided vocal support for dance recitals and is a keen follower of the art.

As Senior Manager – Administration, Shanthi Venkateswaran is responsible for the  execution of the Life Art Education Program through co-ordination and interaction with institutions  and individuals.

Karl Marx is a Multi-Media communication professional, known in the Multimedia world, being resourceful, innovative, flexible and adoptable on any type of work in the field. He had been in the film industry for more than 6 years, worked as an A ssociate Editor in Tamil Movies and serials. Being a sound professional of Soft and hardware skills in the basic computers & sound editing he also, won the Best Editor Award from Neyveli lignite corporation for the Short Film ‘Rettaitheru (2012)’.

In the role of Sr. Videographer & Editor – Corporate at eAmbalam, he handles course content, shooting & editing of our online college the promos, end product of the performance @ eAmbalam Offline, and also the visual promotional materials of eAmbalam.

Omkar in Bangalore, and Sharat Arora in Dharmashala. He has completed teacher’s certification course from S. VYASA University in Bangalore. He has acquired knowledge of human anatomy and physiology under renowned sports physiotherapist in Bangalore, Dr. Gladson Johnson.  

His yogic experiences are experimented and integrated with lifestyle. He founded Yogavijnana to spread the message of Yoga to wider audience. He is an ardent blogger, mountaineer/trekker, avid traveller, hobby photographer, and runner during his spare time. He has completed his advance mountaineering course from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.  He works as hardware designer in a top notch MNC company in Bangalore. In his engineering career, he has one patent to his name and three (3) technical publications.

A Master Yogi, he has been a practitioner of Yoga since 1996 and was conferred the title of ‘Yoga Āchārya’ for having successfully completed the Advanced Teachers Training Course at the Śhivānandha Yoga Vedhāntha Center in India. Renjith is also extensively trained in Kaḷaripayaṭṭu, a beautiful martial art form of Kerala, at Hindhusthān Kaḷari (Kerala, India).

Gifted with fluid grace, an innate sense of rhythm and a vibrant sense of expression, Vijnawas formally initiated into the world of Bharathanatyam at a very young age and has followed her calling with single-minded vision, rigorous training and above all, a passion for the craft. She is the disciple of Dhananjayans & Prof. C.V.Chandrashekar. She is trained in Abhinaya under Indira Kadambi.Today, she is an accomplished upcoming danseuse in the Kalakshetra tradition of Bharathanatyam and has been enthralling audiences both in India and Abroad.

Sujatha Chandramohan (disciple of Adyar.K.Lakshmanan) in Muscat, Oman. Since 1996, she has been training under the world renowned dance couple ‘The Dhananjayans’ at Bharata Kalanjali, Chennai.

She has given scores of solo performances abroad, at premier dance festivals as well as many prominent sabhas in India . She has received several awards and accolades, recognising her for her art and performed as principle dancer in productions of senior performing artistes.

A Multi-faceted Artist par excellence is a Software Architect by Profession. He has learnt Bharathanatayam, Kuchipudi and various Folk Dances from his mother "Natya Kala Ratna" Guru. Chandrakumari Achutaramaiah. He has been learning Carnatic Vocal from “Gaana Kala Shree” Guru. Sri. T.V. Ramprasadh.

He is one among the few countable Jal Tarang Artists in the world and He is under the guidance of “Jal Tarang Mastero” “Kalaimamani” Guru. Anayampatti S. Ganesan. He is an energetic Harikatha Artist, an ace percussionist and a prolific composer (Vaggeyakara- who has composed several songs in 7 languages). Vikash has performed numerous concerts in India and USA since the tender age of 2.5 yrs and has been teaching for the past 12 years. He has won many prizes, awards & laurels from various organizations, elders and academicians.

 

Hailing from an artistic family, Vishnu incorporates nuances of Indian Classical music in his stylistically versatile playing. His characteristic style, a unique blend of Carnatic and Jazz music, has gained him performance opportunities in India, USA, Singapore and Sri Lanka. Vishnu has collaborated with distinguished names in music such as Padma Vibhushan Dr.Umayalpuram Sivaraman, violinist A.Kanyakumari, B.Vijayagopal (Flute), Oliver Fox (Germany), Matteo Capreoli (Germany), Steve Zerlin (USA), and AymanBoujlida (Tunisia), to name a few. Vishnu has also recorded guitars for many recent films such as Mirchi Shiva’s ‘Sonna Puriyadhu’ and ‘Maan Karate’ with Anirudh Ravichander.
