Being able to sing in tune means being able to stand perfectly aligned to shruthi on every swara or musical note. This is what this course will enable the students to do. Techniques and rigor from traditional old school are used while polishing the basic exercises in three octaves (with more focus on the middle and upper octave or sthāyi) and working with it in perceivable ways.

In addition, they get to know what is Indian Music? What are the basic terminologies of Karnātic Music? These questions and much more are answered in this course which explains all the aspects related to the Thambūra, Nādha, Śhruthi, Swara, Sapthaswara, Rāga, Thāḷa, Kāla, Laya, Ārohaṇa and Avarohaṇa.
